Workforce Management

Scheduling: Automatic Break Placement | 9 Jul 2025

• The Automatic Breaks feature has been improved to better align breaks with labour compliance and employee wellbeing. Breaks are now more evenly distributed across shifts, and automatic adjustments are made only when existing breaks violate minimum or maximum rule thresholds

Menu Cycles: kCal Value in Recipe Card Report  | 9 Jul 2025

• Each recipe on the Recipe Cards Report will now have its 'kilocalories per serving' (kCal) value displayed, rounded to the nearest whole number. This report is available to both Central and Local users

RME: Sodium in Grams Rounded to Six Decimal Points, External Code Settings | 9 Jul 2025

• When sodium/salt values are in grams instead of milligrams, the numbers will now be rounded to six decimal places (up from three). This will help prevent zero values from appearing on the Nutrition screen

Trade Simple: Access to Original PDF Invoice/Credit Files | 6 Aug 2025

• Customers who receive PDF eInvoices and credits from their suppliers can now access the original files from within the Invoice/Credit screen in Trade Simple. As shown below, there is now a button: Click to see Original Document, which will open and display the PDF file in a new browser tab 

RME: Timeout Warning, Invoice UOM/Price Validation, API Updates | 20 Aug 2025

• An expiry warning will be displayed when a user's session has been inactive for 15 minutes. The session can be continued by selecting the Extend button. This will help users to save information that might otherwise have been lost due to a timed-out session

RME API: New Endpoints with Paginated Responses | 20 Aug 2025

• Existing endpoints have been recreated with paginated responses. Designed for large data sets, the paginated response provides a method of retrieving the full response in smaller segments. Existing endpoints are unaffected by this change and are still available for use

Menu Cycles: 'Removed' Recipes no Longer in 'Edit Meal Period' Search Results | 18 Sep 2025

• When a recipe is used in an RME menu and is scheduled both as a 'menu recipe' and as a 'stand-alone' recipe within a published menu cycle, and is subsequently removed and is no longer available in any menu cycle at a location, the 'removed recipe' will not be available in search results when adding items to a meal period

Adaco

Adaco: Applying Rates from Electronic Invoices | 8th (EMEA & APAC) & 10th (US) Jul 2025

• When an electronic invoice that contains rates is received against an order that already has an invoice applied you can now optionally update the rates on the receiving from the rates provided in the electronic invoice

Fourth Engage/Mobile apps

Mobile P2P&I Apps: Transferring App for Inventory Users | 24 Jul 2025

• The Fourth Transferring app, when paired with Inventory, allows users to manage the process of transferring products, batch recipes and menu items between locations on a mobile device

P2P&I Mobile Apps | Ordering App:  Design Update, Decimal Separator Based on Language | 16 Sep 2025

• An updated version of the Ordering App is now available, which will automatically be applied for all customers. This has been done to improve the app's responsiveness and freshen the design, including a 'gallery' view within Market Lists and Favourites
• The decimal separator used in the Ordering app is now determined by the language selected in the user's Fourth app profile. Previously, the decimal separator was determined by the browser setting

Fourth Engage: Change to Login Page for EMEA Mobile App, Azure B2C | 30 Sep 2025

• All Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) customers using the Fourth app will see a new login screen (after applying the latest update from the App Store/Google Play). Microsoft's Azure AD BC2 will now also be used for the Corporate Sign In option
