WFM Release Note - Labour Productivity: User Level Permission to Untick 'Actual' Box
What’s Changing?
New functionality that will allow users to re-open a day in Labour Productivity by un-ticking the ‘Actual’ box.

Reason for the Change
Currently if Time and Attendance (T&A) data is sent after a day has been set to ‘Actual’ there is no way to go back in and complete any outstanding actions.
WFM Release Note: Rota Costs Update - Calendar Months
What’s Changing?
The new functionality allows salaried employee costs to be calculated based on the working days in a calendar month instead of Annual Salary/52/actual days worked.
Proposed Release Date: 18th July 2019
Reason for the Change
A number of Fourth customers view costings on a monthly basis. As such, due to the current Employee Cost Calculation, there can be large discrepancies between what is paid within Payroll and what is costed within the Rotas for Salaried employees.
WFM Release Note - Labour Productivity: New Manage User 'All Department' Settings
What's Changing?
There will be new functionality to assign All Departments to users in Labour Productivity.

Reason for the Change
Allows for customers to select ‘All Departments’ when assigning access to users in Labour Productivity. This is done through a new User Setting which will automatically add any new Departments to the user’s access.

What’s Changing?
There will be new functionality to select a quick link in the Rota Approval Report which will take the user to the Passive Shift Reason Report.

Reason for the Change
Allows for quick navigation from the Rota Approval Report to the Passive Shift Reason report if the customer has the ‘Enable Passive Shift Reason Code’ feature enabled.
The new functionality allows the user to easily switch between the ‘Passive Shift Reason Report’ and the ‘Rota Approval Report’.
WFM Release Note: Payroll TUPE Permission
What’s Changing?
Users will only be able to choose an employee to be a TUPE Employee in the ‘Employment Details’ page of an Employee Record if they have the correct access to do so.

Reason for the Change
To allow only authorised users to create an employee as a TUPE employee.
WFM Release Note: Payroll Mid Period Salary Changes
What’s Changing?
The number of salary changes which can be applied to an Employee during a pay period where the Global Setting ‘Mid Pay Period Changes’ is set to ‘Do not allow mid pay period changes?’ is currently limited to one.
A new Global Setting is being introduced which will allow for more than one salary change to be made in an individual pay period.

There are a number of scenarios which would require more than one change to be made to an employee’s salary in a single pay period.
WFM Release Note: Pro-Rata Holidays from Full Time to Part Time
What’s Changing?
Employees changing from Full Time to Part Time (salaried to hourly) will have their Holiday allowance pro-rated and totalled based on the time worked in each of their respective employments.
Release Date: 15th August 2019.
Reason for the Change
Currently when changing from Full Time to Part Time, an employee’s Holiday allowance from the previous employment is not factored into the Holiday allowance calculation.

What’s Changing?
There will be a new functionality for Customer Admins to make Organisation changes in Labour Productivity.

What’s Changing?
New functionality in Labour Productivity which will allow customer admins to set up a specific cut off time for employees when they are creating unavailability and when employees want to swap/drop shifts.

To restrict employees from creating requests in the My Schedule app after a specified cut off time.

What’s Changing?
New functionality called Unavailability Blackout Days, which will allow users to set ‘blackout’ days for when employees are trying to create unavailability in My Schedule.

WFM Release Note - Rename Unpaid Holidays Label
What’s Changing?
New functionality that allows a user-defined name to be displayed instead of the words “Unpaid Holidays”.

Reason for the Change
Not every day off is an unpaid holiday - it could be a weekend or not the employee's working pattern. Because holidays are booked in blocks, renaming the label to something other than 'Unpaid Holiday' can help to reduce confusion, as employees aren't actually deducted anything for these unpaid days.

New functionality to configure Locations and Departments in Labour Productivity.

What’s Changing?
For the system to auto-create lieu days when an employee works more days then they are contracted to.

Reason for the Change
Currently lieu days have to be manually created by users when an employee works over their normal working pattern. This change will remove this burden.

What’s Changing?
New ability to assign two extra accrual values in the wage function settings – “Factor Y” and “Factor Z” - alongside the existing Factor X functionality.

Reason for the Change
Having one accrual factor isn’t always enough for accounting purposes to cover all the costs to a business. The introduction of two further accrual factors will allow for more accurate cost reporting.

Inventory Release Note: Purchasing > Menu Cycles Forecast Integration
What’s Changing?
Within the Menu Cycles application a production plan can be manually captured for each meal period and day. Inventory will consume the production plan as forecast data, in turn enabling processes running off forecast, i.e. Suggested Ordering.

Reason for the Change
For customers using the Menu Cycles application with Inventory the profile of sales may not be consistent due to the varied nature of the offer. Therefore the production plan is taken as the forecast for utilisation in calculation of suggested orders.

What’s Changing?
Integration of suggested orders with the Ordering application. On generation of a suggested order within Inventory, based on forecast, a list will be sent to create the suggested order for visibility within the Ordering app.

The change allows suggested orders generated in Inventory to be persisted to the Ordering application.

What’s Changing?
Within the Menu Cycles app buffet menu items can be planned and sold. On receipt of post-production information, as input in the Menu Cycles application, the composition of the buffet for each day is utilised for accurate depletion of inventory and assignment of revenue in the Inventory product.

Reason for the Change
Depletion of Inventory for buffet menu items has always been problematic as accurate data on the composition of this type of menu item has not been available. With the introduction of the Menu Cycles application this data is now captured and can therefore be used for depletion and revenue assignment based on utilisation.

What’s Changing?
Improvements to the Inventory export, inclusion of wastage and reasons of deduction. Also introduction of the ability to ignore certain transaction types in the Inventory export from EPOS Gateway.

To allow customers to differentiate between different kinds of wastage and deductions when using the export. Certain transaction types are often not required when closing a period, so being able to ignore them helps this process.

P2P&I Release Note: Counting app - Session Timeout Extension
What’s Changing?
The time limit before a Counting app session is judged “inactive” and automatically closed has been extended from 20 minutes to 60 minutes.
Release Date: 18th September 2019
Reason for the Change
Based on user feedback: To allow more time – when working offline – between synchronisations before they need to renew their active session (by closing and re-opening the app).
The offline Counting process becomes smoother and less likely to be interrupted by system messages without compromising the security of the system.

What’s Changing?
A new Global Setting will be introduced that, when enabled, will automatically apply the setting Deliver Pension Info to Email Address when creating employees manually or through the API, and when rehiring employees.

Currently users have to manually apply the setting Deliver Pension Info to Email Address manually when creating an employee. This change will help reduce the risk of employees not receiving legislative pension documentation via email.

Sync Product Barcodes from CP to Property and from Enterprise to CP
While managing products at CP and Enterprise there is also a need to be able to manage, push/pull and synchronize barcodes between the Properties, CP and Enterprise. This can now be accomplished for Product barcodes.

As there were growing performance issues, while recalculating the growing client data, this job needed to be optimized. There should now be visible performance improvements around this recalculation.

P2P&I Release Note: Counting app - Session Timeout Extension
What’s Changing?
The time limit before a Counting app session is judged “inactive” and automatically closed has been extended from 20 minutes to 60 minutes.

Reason for the Change
Based on user feedback: To allow more time – when working offline – between synchronisations before they need to renew their active session (by closing and re-opening the app).
The offline Counting process becomes smoother and less likely to be interrupted by system messages without compromising the security of the system.
