Workforce Management
What's Changing?
- Moving Candidates between Brands, Locations & Roles
Managers can now move candidate applications between Brands, Location and Roles on static steps within a process - Read/Unread Candidate Applications
Managers can now easily distinguish between applications that have been viewed by a manager, and new applications submitted within the Application Review step

January 18th 2022, Release Note: WFM UK | Wagestream: Viewing Published Future Shifts
What's Changing?
- Wider availability of the Pay Schedules API to Wagestream to enable “published future shifts” visibility within the Wagestream app. When employees are scheduled to work, these shifts will be available to view in the Wagestream app along with their estimated associated earnings.

Hovering over an employee's external shift on the rota will display its location - Manually Entering Times to Include Break Records
Ability to record breaks when manually entering shifts in the Time and Attendance screen

Certain pages in the Pension module have been updated to allow it to be accessible from multiple different internet browsers - Pension Module - New User Interface

Certain Payroll pages have been aligned with the rest of the Workforce Management solution

February 14th 2022, Release Note: WFM UK | Labour Productivity: NextGen Forecasting
What's Changing?
- Activation of the Fourth NextGen Forecast Engine across all Labour Productivity customer portals using Fourth's system forecast.

- Users who have access to create and edit Locations will now have the ability to enable Locations for use in Labour Productivity.

What's Changing?
- Managers Rescheduling Events
Managers can now reschedule Events from the admin portal and subsequently notify candidates and interviewers alike so that they can choose an alternative Event or just be informed that the Event has changed. - External Interviewer for Events
Managers can now create Events and specify an external interviewer (who is not a user within the ATS) by free typing their name and providing an email address.

- Launch of a new online form for requesting orders of Time & Attendance devices.

- Export of Scheduling Actions
Audit logs of scheduling actions can now be exported, to show which actions were performed and by whom.

- 'Actual' Tickbox Tooltip
A tooltip on the Schedule page that shows which user ticked the 'Actual' box, and when.

- This release note contains all changes made in the system required to allow legislative compliance from April 2022.

1.25% increase of rates for all National Insurance categories, and notifications in payslips. - Veterans' National Insurance Relief
A National Insurance contribution holiday for employers for a veteran's first year of civilian employment after leaving HM Armed Forces. - Freeport National Insurance Relief
A National Insurance contribution holiday for employers who recruit new employees within a freeport site.

March 24th 2022, Release Note: WFM UK | ATS: Introducing Zoom & Teams Video Call Events
What's Changing?
- Managers can now create Video Call Events directly from the ATS portal using Microsoft Teams or Zoom and invite candidates so that they carry out key recruitment events such as interviews remotely.

January 12th 2022, Release Note: RME: Recipe Usage in Menus
What's Changing?
- A new sub-tab has been added to the recipe 'usage' tab which displays the menus in which the recipe is used.

- Ingredient Price Update Template with Invoice Price
The report previously titled 'Fullers Ingredient Price Update Template' has been renamed. This report is useful to customers using 'catch weight' functionality - Copy Parent Ingredient Only
Button added to allow copying of parent ingredient only, without copying linked alternate ingredients - Recipe Ingredients, Expanded View
When recipe ingredients are expanded, they are indented to make it easier to see which ingredients belong to each 'recipe in a recipe'

- Default Tax for Each Tariff
Each Tariff type (aka 'sell price for a menu cycle item') will be linked to a 'default Tax %' - Tax Edit Permission
A new 'Edit Tax' permission has been created for Central and Local users - Mass Update Prices, v2
Mass Update Prices, version 2, will allow Central users to update selling prices in Local menu cycles and within the selected Central menu cycle

- New functionality to allow suppliers to send header-level charges in electronic invoices and credit notes in the segment called "SAC". SAC segments values will be imported and distributed across in Inventory.

New report for creation of small and medium Shelf Edge Labels - Mass Update Prices, v2, Search By Category
The keyword search has been extended to include the recipe/buffet menu category - Empty Weeks will Display in Local Menu Cycles
'Empty weeks', i.e., weeks without a meal period that occur at the end of a menu cycle will now display for local users

February 22nd 2022, Release Note: RME: GET API Base URL, v1, Deprecation
What's Changing?
- The version 1 base URL of the Recipe and Menu Engineering API GET requests: api.starchef.net/[resource] will be deprecated on 22 February 2022. API users should use the newer version (version 2) api.starchef.net/v2/[resource].

After a menu course has been created, ability to change its 'order' relative to the other courses in the menu - Log in/Log out user report
A new report that lists all log-in and log-out activity for all users - Ingredient Pack Descriptor Visible when in Read Mode
Cosmetic improvement to ensure the same fields are visible in read and edit modes

Both Recipe Name and Recipe Menu Description will display onscreen; both are searchable in keyword search - Allergen Report, Default Response Changed (Local Only)
Default response changed to return 'planned items'; new parameter added to include 'unplanned items' - Traffic Light Report (Local and Central), New Parameters
Default response changed to return 'planned items'; new parameters: date range, meal periods, include unplanned items

March 29th 2022, Release Note: Inventory | Restaurants: RME Recipes and Wastage Calculation
What's Changing?
- Use of RME Wastage Data for Recipe Calculations
Wastage data in RME recipes will now be used for calculations in Inventory. - Automatically Update Recipes to Sites
Recipes updated in RME will also update the same site-level recipes in Inventory.

March 23rd 2022, Release Note: RME: Set Validation, Menu Archive, Price Band Override Template
What's Changing?
- Set Validation to Eliminate Hidden Records
Set validation has been added to prevent records from being removed from all sets - Menus, Archive Functionality
Archive option for menus, similar to existing 'archive' functionality for ingredients and menus - Price Band Override Template, Mark Impacted Ingredients for Inventory Export
'Mark ingredients for export' when their prices are changed using the Price Band Override Template

Adaco

What's Changing?
- A new connected app called Transferring, that allows for the transfer of products and recipes between outlets.

- Outlet Default Delivery Address
New ability to assign a default delivery/'ship to' address to an Outlet for purchase requisitions - Using the Default Browser for Punchout Orders
When creating a Punchout order the vendor's website will now be opened in the user's default web browser rather than in the Adaco in-app browser - Auto Creation of Vendor Interfaces
When creating new vendors, either in the Adaco UI or using the Vendor API, an email vendor interface can be created automatically

Fourth Engage/Mobile apps
January 11th 2022, Release Note: Mobile | Fourth App: Requirement to Upgrade Native Fourth App
What's Changing?
- Fourth is changing the way that users are authenticated and authorised when they access the Fourth App. To work with this new Identity Management service, users will be required to upgrade their native iOS or Android apps to a new version which is planned for release to the app stores by 11th January 2022.

The 'All Applications' page has been re-designed to align with the look and feel of the rest of the Fourth App/Engage - New Design for non-Engage Users
The landing page for Non-Engage users has been re-designed to allow easier access to connected apps and the user's profile - Static Custom Pages No Longer Supported
The static, built-in custom menu items are no longer supported as customers are able to create their own custom menu items/pages
