What’s Changing?
Implementation of the main changes in the updated code of practice relating to the Right to Work (RTW) checks required for EEA/Swiss nationals after 1st July.
Release date: 30th June 2021
Reason for the Change
Ahead of the Brexit transition rules coming into effect on July 1st, 2021, the Home Office has made changes to the employer’s guidance in relation to the acceptable document list for conducting RTW checks on June 18th.

What's Changing?
Minor enhancements to the Tronc2 module.

WFM UK Release Note: HMRC Generic Notification Service Messaging
What's Changing?
A new screen is being added to the HMRC Data Exchange menu, where Generic Notification Service (GNS) messages from HMRC can be downloaded and displayed.

Reason for the Change
To allow users to manage their GNS messages from the Payroll module, removing the need to log into Government Gateway.
WFM UK Release Note: ATS 1.5.0: Event Card Improvements, New Vacancies Filtering
What's Changing?
Event cards have been redesigned to display clear, concise, and legible information whilst retaining event-based colour coding that users rely on to identify the type of event they are managing.

WFM UK Release Note: Furlough Average Earnings Updates: May 2021
What’s Changing?
The average earnings and daily rate calculation stored within the Furlough Status screen is being updated with the new calculation from May 2021.

Reason for the Change
HMRC updated their furlough guidance in April to detail the calculations for employees who qualify for furlough under reference date 2nd March 2021. Part of this guidance was a change to the average earnings calculation for 2019/2020, which has been used since the original guidance was released in 2020.
WFM UK Release Note: New Usual Hours Calculation for Furlough Payments Export
What’s Changing?
A new ‘usual hours’ calculation is being added to the ‘Furlough Payments (August 2020 onwards): By Whole Month’ export for employees who qualify for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) after October 2020.
Release date: 6th April 2021.
Reason for the Change
On 14th April 2021, CJRS guidance was updated to include usual hours calculations for employees who fall under the reference date of 2nd March 2021.

What’s Changing?
Changes are being made to the Sensitive Information page within the HR module to allow users to manage their employees’ information more effectively.

Inventory | Restaurants Release Note: Product Banding in Gap Check Request from Menu Cycles
What's Changing?
The 'Product Banding' global setting will be used as part of a gap check request when Menu Cycles central users verify Menu Cycles before publishing.

Reason for the Change
Before this change, when a Menu Cycle was verified before publishing, product banding was always checked as part of the gap check request, regardless of whether the global setting was enabled or not.
Inventory | Restaurants Release Note: Orderable Status by Site in Ordering Application
What's Changing?
Aligning the Ordering application with the core Inventory application so that they handle unavailable products in the same way.
Release date: 22nd June 2021
Reason for the Change
Within the core Inventory application, products' 'orderable' statuses can be managed at both the Organisation and Site level. However, in the Ordering app, only the Organisation-level 'orderable' status is picked up, which in turn can result in products being ordered that should not be. This change will help ensure that only genuinely available products can be ordered using the Ordering app.
RME Release Note: Change of Ingredient Field Name, Improved Ingredient List Report, API Changes
What's Changing?
Ingredient field name 'Date 1st delivery to warehouse' has been changed to 'Date First Available for Order'.

Reason for the Change
More easily understood field name.
Inventory | Restaurants Release Note: Automatic Approval of Invoices with no Discrepancy Decisions
What’s Changing?
Invoices that require no user-made decision will be automatically approved and, depending on a global setting, marked for export.

To save time. Currently, these invoices are shown when viewing invoice discrepancies and require manual approval by users.

Planning: Simplified Default View
Post-production: Addition of Revenue, Design Refresh
Additional Data from POS: Revenue, Unknown Tariff
Release date: 27th April 2021.
Reason for the Change
Using a less detailed ‘default’ view in Planning makes it easier to scan and quicker to populate for those users interested primarily in adding ‘planned quantity’ values. The addition of revenue and unknown tariffs will increase the accuracy of sales information sent from the point of sale system (POS).
RME Release Note - April 2021: Defining Alternates with a Different UOM
What's Changing?
In RME alternates can now be defined with units of measure (UOM) outside of the UOM family of the base ingredient - if a conversion between UOM’s has been applied at the base ingredient level. This information is interfaced from RME to Inventory to support the use of these alternates relative to the parent stock item.

Reason for the Change
Previously, without this capability, customers were required to create duplicate ingredients (i.e. create new parent ingredients rather than add alternates) which in turn required the creation of duplicate recipes and/or other difficult workarounds.
Adaco
Adaco: General Release Note: Consolidated Event Plan Report, Product Ingredient Statement
What's Changing?
Addition of a new 'Consolidated' type for the Event Plan Report.

Reason for the Change
With the extended use of the Event Plan feature, there is a growing need for a more concise view of Event Plan reporting. Consolidating Event Items by category allows for easier reviewing and tracking.
Adaco: General Release Note: Rates in the Receiving app
What’s Changing?
Fourth’s Adaco release 4.6.114 includes new functionality. Specifically:
Rates in the Receiving app
Release date: 10th (EMEA) / 13th May (USA) 2021
Reason for the Change
Continuing to improve on the Fourth Mobile journey, this functionality gives users the ability to select Rates for Receivings (at a header level) from the Receiving app. Similar to the back end systems, users will be able to select a Rate from a list of predefined rates and then input a monetary value. This allows users to complete Receivings whilst on the go, rather than in the back office.
