Overview
Users can change their login information (username and password) at any point by logging into HotSchedules. When creating or changing the username, users may receive errors such as the Username not being unique. This article provides more information about the error and how to proceed when you receive it.
If you need more information about updating your username or password see this article: HS Settings: How to Change Your Username and Password.
Unique Username
Usernames must be unique across HotSchedules. When creating or editing a username, you may receive an error stating, Username is not unique.

If you have selected a username that is already attached to another account, it will not save your change. This is true even if you have used HotSchedules for another company. You will not be able to have the same username for two separate accounts. You are welcome to try another variation of your username and save the changes again.
