HotSchedules Logbook encompasses a set of tools designed to help you manage each shift more efficiently. Entries in Logbook can be easily found when needed - from contact information, to daily events, to who did what when. Logbook’s tools are there for your management team; team members cannot read entries unless your company allows it.
The tools included in Logbook are Store Logs, Task Lists, To-Dos Finances Events, Calendar, and Library. Note that your store may be configured to take advantage of only some of these features.
Store Logs
Store Logs are where managers may keep up with the happenings in the store. This feature is divided into two sections
- Daily Log - Record shift information such as particular customers, deliveries, etc.
- Staff Journal - Record information about employee behavior and information.
Other managers are able to view and reply to what is written, and you are easily able to search for entries by keyword, date, team member, or even by importance. In addition, an entry is not able to be modified or deleted after the initial 24 hours, or until someone else has viewed it.
