Overview
Menu Groups are the basis of several reports within FnB that allow users to filter specific information for key areas. Menu Groups are also the basis of the target sales price calculator.
Maintenance of the Menu Structure can enable fast and easy interpretation of the information, as well as assisting in the speed and accuracy of pricing new Menu Items for Sale.
Menu Admin and Menu Structure

The main pane will then refresh to show the current Menu Structure. Each tier of the Menu Structure is colour coded to make identification easier.
All three tiers must be created for them to be assigned to a Menu Item. They must be created from the top down, i.e, an Over group must be created before Major Groups, which should be created before Menu Groups
Collapsing any Over Groups not being worked on makes it is easier to navigate the screen.
To do this:

The Add New Over Group Wizard will then open in a pop-up window.

The Add New Major Group wizard will then open in a pop-up window.

The Add New Menu Group wizard will then open in a pop-up window.
The Target GP% is used by the system when calculating Group Target Pricing within each Menu Item Assigned to that Menu Group.

Menu Admin and Menu Structure
- On the left side menu in Enterprise, expand System Admin > Menu Admin
- Then select Menu Groups

- Over Groups are the highest tier and are coloured Red
- Major Groups are the intermediate tier and are coloured Green
- Menu Groups are the Lowest Tier and are coloured Blue

- Select the 'minus' - symbol to the left of each Group

- Select New Over Group

The Add New Over Group Wizard will then open in a pop-up window.
- Enter a name for the new Over Group and then select Finish
- Confirm the creation of the new Over Group
Major Group Creation
- First ensure that the Over Group that the Major Group will belong to is expanded
- Select Add New Major Group from the bottom of the list

The Add New Major Group wizard will then open in a pop-up window.
- Enter the name of the new Major Group
- By opening and adjusting the drop-down menu, the Over Group to which it belongs can be changed
- Select Finish and then Confirm the creation of the new Major Group
Menu Group Creation
- Ensure that the Major Group that the Menu Group will belong to is expanded
- Select Add New Menu Group at the bottom of the list

The Add New Menu Group wizard will then open in a pop-up window.
- Enter the name of the new Menu Group
- Also enter a Target GP%
The Target GP% is used by the system when calculating Group Target Pricing within each Menu Item Assigned to that Menu Group.
- By opening and adjusting the drop-down menu the Major Group to which it belongs can be
changed - Select Finish and Confirm the creation of the new Menu Group
