What’s Changing?
When changes to Exchange Rate values are made, they will now be applied overnight rather than with immediate effect.

Reason for the Change
Applying changes to Exchange Rates during busy periods (such as Monday Stock Period approvals) can cause performance issues with the system.

Changing an Exchange Rate
Below are instructions for updating/adding an Exchange Rate. The key thing to take note of here is that changes to Exchange Rates will now take effect at 00:01 on the selected date.

A list of existing configured exchange rates will display.

The Exchange Rate change will then be scheduled for the chosen date. However, it will need to be approved for the change to take effect.
Details of the scheduled Exchange Rate change will display.

The Exchange Rate change will take effect at 00:01 on the date selected.
Any items that are linked to this currency will then be updated.

Changing an Exchange Rate
Below are instructions for updating/adding an Exchange Rate. The key thing to take note of here is that changes to Exchange Rates will now take effect at 00:01 on the selected date.
- Log in to Enterprise and go to System Administration > General Admin > Currency

A list of existing configured exchange rates will display.
- To update an Exchange Rate, select the relevant currency

- Select the Exchange Rates tab and then Add New Exchange Rate

- On the next screen, use the Scheduled Date Change field to select the date that the change will be applied from
- Use the Exchange Rate field to specify what the new value will be
- The Description field can be used to record exactly what was changed
- When ready, select Next and then OK to confirm

- Back in the Currency Details screen, go to the General tab and select Display Scheduled Changes

- Select either Approve, Mark On Hold, or Delete Selected Changes
