WFM Release Note - Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay
What’s Changing?
Addition of new functionality to allow for the new Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay (SPBP).

Reason for the Change
‘Jack’s Law’ is coming into effect on 6th April 2020, which allows parents who suffer the loss of a child or have a stillbirth after 24 weeks, two weeks Parental Bereavement Leave and, for those who qualify, a statutory payment.
WFM Release Note - Sensitive Information Updates
What’s Changing?
The Sensitive Information lists have been updated to include additional fields for both Ethnic Origin and Sexual Orientation.

WFM Release Note - Termination Payments
What’s Changing?
Additional functionality to calculate Class 1a National Insurance on termination payments exceeding £30,000.

In April 2020, new rules about calculating Class 1A National Insurance on Termination Payments come into force.
WFM Release Note - Employer Allowance Reforms 2020
What’s Changing?
The Employment Allowance settings within the Company Details page has been amended to accommodate the changes that are being introduced by HMRC in April 2020.

WFM Release Note - New Tax Year 2020/2021
What’s Changing?
This release note contains all changes made in the system required to allow legislative compliance from April 2020.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) are implementing changes to legislation agreed by the UK government, for the tax year beginning 6th April 2020.
WFM Release Note - 52 Week Holiday Calculation
What’s Changing?
New functionality to allow the calculation of Flexible workers’ holiday allowance and pay to be done over 52 weeks, in line with new legislation.

Reason for the Change
New Legislation will come into force on 6th April 2020 as part of the ‘Good Work Plan’ whereby holiday allowance and pay for Flexible employees must be calculated over a 52 week period.
WFM Release Note - EU Citizen Changes
What’s Changing?
A new ‘EU Citizen’ nationality has been added to HR & Payroll, with associated proof of eligibility criteria.

Reason for the Change
Following the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, EU citizens have a new set of employment statuses which they need to apply for in order to be able to continue to work in the UK after 31st December 2020.
WFM Release Note - Labour Productivity: Bulk Close/Open Departments
What’s Changing?
The ability to a bulk set Departments to ‘closed’ or ‘open’.

To help save time if such bulk actions are required.
WFM Release Note - Furloughed Status for Employees
What’s Changing?
The following enhancements are being made to the 'Furloughed' status page:
- Ability to switch Furlough functionality off for those who don’t require it
- Ability to edit start and end dates if entered incorrectly
- Ability to remove 'Furlough' status from employees if set up incorrectly
- Average Pay for the 2019 tax year is now shown within the page
- Ability to add multiple 'Furlough' status period for each employee, if required

Recipe and Menus Release Note - Pending Intolerance Recalculation Indicator
What’s Changing?
Introduction of an on-screen indicator that signals when an ingredient or recipe is ‘pending intolerance recalculation’.

What’s Changing?
When an Alternate Ingredient GUID is submitted to the endpoints, information will be returned for the alternate ingredient that matches the GUID.

General Release Notes - Purchasing & Inventory 4_6_100
What’s Changing?
Fourth’s Purchasing & Inventory release 4.6.100 includes new functionality. Specifically:
- Nutrition label change to comply with new US legislation
- Amended message for Split Requisition logic
- New setting at CP to modify Product Active status
- Alternative email field for SSO

Reason for the Change
Nutrition Label change to comply with new US legislation
With the new US legislation there is a requirement to update the existing Nutrition label.
Amended message for Split Requisition logic
The initial message released with the Split Requisition logic was confusing, so needed to be amended to a more meaningful one.
New setting at CP to modify Product Active status
With the business growth of our customers there is a need to be able to give varying levels of access to users.
Alternative email field for SSO
As Fourth accounts are usually provided to users using their personal email address, we needed a way to be able to generate a Fourth account with users’ personal email addresses from Purchasing & Inventory.
General Release Notes - Purchasing & Inventory 4_6_101
What’s Changing?
Fourth’s Purchasing & Inventory release 4.6.101 includes new functionality. Specifically:
- Ability to run Top Ingredients Report by more than 50 Products
- Bid Schedule in Vendor Profile
- Change Example Bar Code Configuration for EAN 13 Auto Bar Codes

Reason for the Change
Ability to run Top Ingredients Report by more than 50 Products
Initial implementation of the Top Ingredients Report limited users to report on a maximum of 50 products. This was insufficient for accommodating the growing number of products used within Purchasing & Inventory.
Bid Schedule in Vendor profile
With the increasing number of Vendors, it can be difficult to keep track of bid schedule changes. This new field will make it easier to mark the expiration cycles of a Vendor bid schedule.
Change Example Bar Code Configuration for EAN 13 Auto Bar Codes
The initial example for the EAN 13 Bar code was not complaint with the EAN 13 standard, therefore a change in the example text was introduced.

What’s Changing?
Fourth’s Purchasing & Inventory release 4.6.102 includes new functionality. Specifically:
- US Foods EDI Amendments to align with Sysco EDI Substitution
- POS Job Context and Logic Refactoring

Reason for the Change
US Foods EDI Amendments to align with Sysco EDI Substitution
As the logic for Sysco EDI processing has proven to be accurate, we have aligned the US Foods processing to it, introducing additional functionality to provide visibility for unknown products received through EDI Invoices.
POS Job Context and Logic Refactoring
With the globalisation of our clients and properties that work in different time zones, there is a need for the POS Auto Processing job to run more than once per day in different time slots. We have enhanced this job so that it can be set up to run and process files per property for the desired property time.
Fourth Engage/Mobile apps
Release Note: Engage - Archiving of Groups After 60 Days of Inactivity
What’s Changing?
Automatic archiving of inactive groups in Engage will now happen after 60 days of inactivity – was previously set to 30 days.
