User Group - Recipe Access Rights
When access rights are associated with a user group, all users assigned to that user group will be provided access to that function.To access the Recipe option access rights, shown in Fig. 01:
- Navigate to Property>Setup>User Groups>User Groups.
- Double-click the desired user group.
- Select Recipe from the Main Menu drop-down.
- Add or modify access rights.
- Click Save.

Group Details
Fields | Description |

Allowed segments for group | If a segment or segments are selected, then users assigned to the user group will only have access to products associated with those segments and subsequent categories and subcategories. Note: a blank field denotes access to all segments. |
Submenu
Fields | Description |

Recipe Center* | Provides view-only access to the Recipe Center, but not to the contents of the recipes. The Recipe Center button and drop-down menu become accessible, as seen in Fig. 02.

New Recipe | Provides access to the New Recipe drop-down menu option, as seen in Fig. 03.

Ingredient Replacement | Provides the ability to replace one ingredient within a recipe or recipes with another. The Ingredient Replacement option in the Recipe drop-down menu become available, as seen in Fig. 04.

POS Interface | Provides access to the Point of Sale Interface screen to look at the sales files which have processed or need to be processed, and also to look at errors which may exist within the files. The POS Interface option becomes accessible in the drop-down menu under Recipes>Recipe Sales, as seen in Fig. 05.

Event Center | Provides access to create, modify, delete, etc, in the Event Plan, Event Control, and Event Control Template screens. These options become accessible in the Recipe>Events drop-down menu, seen in Fig. 06.

Production Planning | Provides access to create a Production Plan and subsequent Outlet Requisition and Purchase Requisitions. The Production Planner in the Recipe drop-down becomes accessible, as seen in Fig. 07.

Enter / Maintain Sales History | Provides access to the loaded sales files, as well as the ability to manually enter sales. This option becomes available under the Recipes>Recipe Sales drop-down menu, as seen in Fig. 08.

Note: fields with an asterisk indicates a Submenu with additional access rights.
Note: once the appropriate access rights have been associated to the user group:
- Click Save.
Additional Access Rights
Some of the Submenu options have extra access rights associated with them.- To access, click ". . ." under the Access Rights column, as seen in Fig. 09.

When additional access rights are provided to the user group for the Recipe Center, the users assigned to that user group will be able to do more within that area. The additional access rights are shown in Fig. 10.

Create New Recipe when Scaling | Provides the ability to create and save a recipe which has been scaled, as seen in Fig. 11.

Recipe Access Rights | Provides the ability to create, edit, view, delete, and print recipes in the Recipe Center. All the access rights will require the View access right to be enabled. Create - allows making new recipes, as well as fully access the New Recipe option in the Recipes drop-down. Edit - allows modification of anything on a recipe, manually recost recipes, and set recipes as Active/Inactive. View - allows the ability to open the contents of recipes. Delete - allows removing recipes from the property. Print - allows the ability to print recipes and nutritional labels. |
Use Non-converting Units in Recipes | Provides the ability to select units where there currently is not an available unit with the product, as seen in Fig. 12.

Use Non-measureable Units in Recipes | Provides the ability to select units of measure which do not have a quantifiable amount, as seen in Fig. 13.
