This article will help you on how to add a shift to an employee who is not scheduled on both iOS and Android devices. Make sure you are on the mobile version 4.99.0 or higher.
Navigate to the Roster tab and select the day you need to add the shift. To add a shift to an employee who is not already scheduled, select the '+' sign next to the filter icon on iOS or select the '+' sign on the bottom right corner for Android. Then select the employee you are trying to add to the schedule. Remember you will be only able to add shifts to schedules that are posted.

Schedule Wednesday Friday Saturday Sunday
Hi Mario Falls,
To see your schedule, please see this article HS: Employee Options for Checking Schedule.
Kind regards,
Fourth & HotSchedules
No longer works in the app?? Can't even edit shifts or apply a search filter
Hi Josh Griffin,
As long as the schedule is posted and you have the correct permissions, you should be able to add a shift to an unscheduled employee. Your comment suggests that you have successfully done this before, so we can probably rule out the permissions being the cause. We recommend that you make sure that the schedule is posted and try again. If you still experience the issue, please let us know and confirm which platform you are using as well. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Fourth & HotSchedules.
Using the HS Team App, wondering if corporate removed the permission set for this then cause it was working up until the changes made on the app which changed a lot of stuff... having to get on a computer just to moved or edit shifts after being posted is kind-of annoying so sounds like it's not on your end then...
