HS Mobile Apps: Schedule Edits Overview

Overview

The Roster tab in the HotSchedules mobile app allows managers to create, edit, and manage shifts for posted schedules directly from their mobile device.

These scheduling features are available on iOS and Android devices running HotSchedules Mobile version 4.99.0 or later.

Note: Schedule edits can only be made to posted schedules. Unposted schedules cannot be edited from the mobile app.

Available Schedule Editing Features

Use the following articles to learn how to perform common scheduling tasks in the mobile app.

Edit an Existing Shift

Update an employee's shift details, including the start time, end time, schedule, job, or location.

Add a Shift to a Scheduled Employee

Create an additional shift for an employee who is already scheduled on a specific day.

Add a Shift to an Unscheduled Employee

Create a shift for an employee who is not currently scheduled for the selected day.

Reassign an Existing Shift

Transfer an existing shift from one employee to another.

House an Existing Shift

Convert an employee's scheduled shift into a House Shift.

Create and Assign a House Shift

Create a new House Shift and assign it to a schedule.
