WebClock is a Time & Attendance solution within HotSchedules that allows employees to clock in and out without requiring a direct POS integration. Employees can record work time, meals, and breaks while managers can monitor employee activity and manage timekeeping functions.
WebClock can be accessed from a web browser or mobile device and supports multiple authentication methods based on company configuration. Employees may sign in using:
- Their HotSchedules username and password
- A POS ID or HR ID
WebClock Features
WebClock provides the following functionality:
Employee Time Tracking
Employees can:
- Clock in and out for scheduled shifts
- Start and end meals and breaks
- View worked hours
- Declare tips when enabled
Manager Functions
Managers and WebClock administrators can:
- Launch and disable WebClock
- View employees currently on the clock
- Perform manager overrides when required
- Clock employees out when necessary
Notifications
WebClock supports manager notifications for specific attendance events, including:
- Late Punch notifications
- Meal and Break notifications
These notifications can help managers identify missed punches and meal or break compliance issues.
Accessing WebClock
WebClock can be launched from:
Web Browser
Navigate to: www.hotschedules.com/hs/webclock.
Users with the appropriate WebClock permissions can launch the application and select the location where WebClock will be active.
Mobile App
WebClock can also be launched from the HotSchedules mobile application using the Launch WebClock option.
Additional Information
Only users with the appropriate WebClock permissions can launch or administer WebClock. Depending on company configuration, clock-in methods, notifications, and available features may vary.
