What's Changing?
Our upgraded text engagement tool will take PeopleMatter’s communication capabilities to the next level by enabling employers to communicate with applicants via SMS messages from within the PeopleMatter platform. Whether a manager needs to reschedule an interview with a candidate, or follow up with them after, they can communicate quickly and easily, without having to use their own personal device.
Reason for the Change
Applicants/candidates prefer to communicate via text. This feature allows hiring managers to communicate to potential employees through their preferred method, expediting the hiring process and keeping candidates engaged. Also improves ease of use for employers.
Customers Affected
Available for all customers.
SMS messages will only be sent to applicants who have opted in to receive SMS updates.
Release Note Info/Steps
The option to select Two way SMS page will appear on the left navigation bar in the beta experience.
Additionally, you can select the SMS icon from the Applicant Tracking page.

Snagajob Easy Apply

What's Changing?
Customers who use the Snagajob marketplace for job postings can increase their candidate pool with 'Easy Apply' job postings. Candidates will be able to submit their profile (providing managers a prescreen of them) and later complete the full application if needed.

To increase applicant flow by minimizing friction at the top of the funnel.

Release Note Info/Steps
By default, all jobs accepting applications are sent to the Snagajob Marketplace automatically.
Customers who have enabled exceptions to prevent this will need to ensure jobs are sent to Snagajob if they desire to take advantage of Easy Apply.
- To set up, an admin will need to enable the screening questions through Job Boards Settings
- A new option for Snagajob Easy Apply will show there (see Fig.3)
- The admin can select a location and any jobs, followed by screening questions
This data will then be sent to Snagajob, and will allow the admin to enable Easy Apply for those postings.
