What’s New?
- Additional State Form Updates and Federal Withholding (W4 Form) Update
We’ve updated several tax forms to ensure compliance and clarity. The North Carolina Exempt form now includes additional exemption and revocation reasons. Colorado’s form has revised text in the Annual Withholding Allowance section. Additionally, the Federal W-4 form has been updated to the 2025 version, with no changes to the user interface or field values. These updates are applied automatically and require no action from administrators.
General Improvements
Enhanced Paycard Registration Workflow
We’ve improved the Fuego Paycard registration process to ensure a smoother and more accurate experience for new hires. Previously, employees could unintentionally submit multiple paycard registrations by revisiting and repeating the workflow, leading to duplicate card requests.
To enhance this process, Fuego now identifies each registration using a unique onboarding ID. If a paycard has already been registered for that ID, the system will display a helpful message instead of processing a duplicate. PeopleMatter has also implemented logic to handle this gracefully—employees will see a message confirming their existing registration and can proceed with onboarding without interruption. The selected paycard will be saved as their payment method, and card details will remain visible to managers upon task completion.
