State Form updates and I-9 Form (Employment Eligibility) Update
We’ve updated several state withholding forms to reflect 2025 requirements. These updates ensure compliance and a smoother onboarding experience for new hires.
The following states now use the latest version of their withholding forms. No changes were made to the questions or instructions shown to new hires:Arizona
Connecticut
Kansas
Mississippi
Missouri
Montana
Oregon
Updated Form Text
Minor text updates were made to improve clarity and reflect the current tax year:
South Carolina: Updated exemption year from 2024 to 2025 in Section 7.
Georgia: Updated calculation divisor from $3,000 to $4,000 in the allowance worksheet.
New York State Withholding Workflow
- The IT-2104 (standard) form has been updated to the 2025 version.
- The IT-2104-E (exemption) form is now available.
- New hires in New York will now choose between the standard or exemption form at the start of the workflow, ensuring they complete the most appropriate version.
- The Quick Apply question now automatically include EEO questions.
To support your organization's compliance and reporting needs, the Quick Apply process now automatically includes Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) questions:- Gender
- Race/Ethnicity
What You Need to Know:
- These questions are optional for applicants to answer.
- Responses are not visible to hiring managers and do not appear in the application materials.
- EEO data is only accessible in reporting by administrators who already have the appropriate permissions.
- This update helps ensure a consistent and inclusive experience for applicants while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
General Improvements
Enhanced the I-9 workflow to ensure smooth re-verification by removing an unnecessary List B document pop-up.
