Business Day Accuracy for Sales & Volume Data
Description
HotSchedules now aligns sales, volume, guest, and table count data with your configured Business Day start time. Early-morning records are automatically assigned to the correct business day, ensuring more accurate reporting and forecasting.
Availability
This enhancement is automatically enabled for all clients using APIs or file imports.
Who Benefits
Managers and teams responsible for reviewing or analyzing sales and volume data.
How It Works
Records that occur before your defined Business Day start time are assigned to the previous business day.
Example: If your Business Day begins at 4:00 AM and a sale occurs at 1:00 AM, it will be assigned to the prior day.
This applies across all supported APIs and file-based data imports.
