Enhanced Visual Cues for Schedule Score
Description
Managers using the Schedule Optimizer can now quickly identify which parameters most influence the overall Schedule Score. Parameters with the greatest impact are visually highlighted, helping managers prioritize actions that drive the biggest improvements.
Availability
This enhancement is automatically available for all clients with Schedule Optimizer enabled in HS Labor.
Intended Users
Managers who configure or review Schedule Score settings.
How It Works
Parameters with a weight of 20% or higher are marked with a “HIGH IMPACT” badge.
Multiple parameters may display the badge if they meet the threshold.
The badge is always visible wherever the parameter appears in the Schedule Score side drawer.
If configuration settings change, a rescore is required for the badges to refresh.
Improved Tooltips in HS Side Drawer
Description
Managers now have a more intuitive and transparent view of how parameter weights contribute to the overall Schedule Score. Updated tooltips and header text provide immediate clarity into each parameter’s relative impact.
Availability
Automatically available for all clients with Schedule Score enabled in HS Labor.
Intended Users
Managers reviewing or analyzing Schedule Score parameters.
How It Works
Added explanatory text beneath the Schedule Score header:
“You can adjust or remove the Weight % of any Parameter in the ASC. Learn More”
(Note: the “Learn More” link will be updated in an upcoming release.)Updated tooltip now displays:
“The Schedule Score is determined by the following Parameters:”
followed by a dynamic list of parameters with their associated percentages.Percentages always total 100%, and parameters with a 0% weight are excluded from display.
Tooltips update dynamically based on each client’s configuration, ensuring information accuracy and relevance.
Refined Push Notification Targeting

Push notifications for shift trade approvals are now more precisely targeted. ASC users are excluded to ensure that only store managers and employees directly involved in shift trades receive relevant updates.
Availability
Automatically available for all clients using HotSchedules push notifications.
Intended Users
Managers and employees who receive shift trade notifications.
How It Works

Fair Work Week Compliance Enhancements – WebClock
Description
Employees using HotSchedules WebClock in Fair Work Week (FWW) locations are now required to acknowledge schedule, punch, and work variance edits before clocking out. This enhancement aligns WebClock functionality with the main HotSchedules web application and strengthens compliance visibility for managers.
Availability
Available for customers using ENABLE_PUNCH_RECORDS_2.
Not available for customers with USE_OLD_PUNCH_RECORD_REPORT_AND_OLD_PUNCH_EDITS.
Intended Users

How It Works
-
During clock-out, employees are prompted with acknowledgment modals for:
Schedule changes
Punch edits (e.g., meal/break adjustments, job changes)
Shift additions or removals
Tip adjustments
Work variances
-
Preload modals appear first for pre-consent items, followed by acknowledgment modals for:
Good Faith Estimate
Regular Schedule
Individual Shift Consent
Work Schedule
Punches to Acknowledge
Supports individual acknowledgment per item or an “Agree to All” option.
Employees must explicitly agree or disagree; if “Disagree” is selected, a comment can be added.
Unacknowledged items remain visible until completed; once acknowledged, they no longer reappear.
Punch timing is based on the final action, including acknowledgment completion.
