Enhanced Punch Record Entry with Smart Time Picker
Description
Entering punch times is now faster and more intuitive. The Smart Time Picker allows users to input times using shorthand or 24-hour formats, improving efficiency and minimizing manual entry errors.
Availability
This enhancement is automatically available to all clients using Punch Records in HotSchedules.
Who It’s For
Designed for power users and managers who enter or edit punch times regularly.
How It Works
When editing a punch record, simply enter the desired time using shorthand or 24-hour input. The system will automatically format entries for clarity and accuracy.
Supports 24-hour shorthand (e.g., typing 20 = 8:00 PM)
Recognizes partial AM/PM entries (e.g., 8p = 8:00 PM, 7a = 7:00 AM)
Automatically converts inputs to full time format (HH:MM AM/PM)
General Improvements
Punch Record Cutoff Enforcement Enhancement - Punch edits for the current day now respect established cutoff times, ensuring greater accuracy and consistency in timekeeping.
Exceptions Report Accuracy Enhancement— The Exceptions Report now automatically excludes terminated employees, providing cleaner, more accurate reporting for active team members.
Improved Location Synchronization with Fourth Provisioning Services — Location updates now sync more reliably across all stores, ensuring accurate and timely data between HotSchedules and Fourth Provisioning Services.
Labor Budget Accuracy for Salaried Managers — Salaried managers are now correctly excluded from overtime cost calculations in the Labor Budget, ensuring more accurate labor cost reporting when blended overtime is enabled.
