Improved LaborTrans Export Options
Availability
This enhancement is available through a new company setting: LABOURTRANS_EXCLUDE_NEW_WEEK_ZERO_ROWS.
It can be enabled alongside ENABLE_FA_LABOUR_TRANS_DELTA with assistance from Support.
Who It’s For
Designed for data consumers and administrators managing exports to Fourth Analytics.
What’s New
You can now choose to exclude zero-hour rows from new LaborTrans exports.
Rows with zero hours for new weeks will no longer appear in the file.
Exception: If an employee had hours in the previous export, their row will still appear even if current hours are zero, ensuring consistent reporting history.
This update helps reduce file size and improves reporting accuracy in Fourth Analytics.
How It Works
Once enabled, new LaborTrans exports will:
Exclude rows with zero hours for new weeks.
Retain rows for employees who had hours in the prior export, even if the current week’s hours are zero.
Example:
If a job role was inactive and had no hours in the last export, its row will not appear in the next file.
If an employee worked last week but has zero hours this week, their row will remain for continuity in reporting.
Forecast Manager | Day Parts Integration
Availability
This feature is available through a new company setting: ENABLE_DAY_PART_EXPORT_TO_AIF.
It applies when AI Forecasting is enabled across all stores in a company.
Who It’s For
Designed for external platforms that consume forecast-related configuration data, such as Forecast Manager and AI Forecasting.
What’s New
HotSchedules now sends defined Day Parts for each store to connected forecasting platforms.
This ensures consistent segmentation of the workday across scheduling and forecasting tools, keeping data aligned and reducing manual review.
The data includes key attributes such as:
Day Part name
Day of the week
Local start and end times (hours and minutes)
Department info and canonical IDs (Customer, Location)
SourceSystemId and SequenceNumber
Updates are sent only when Day Parts change at the group level, ensuring each store remains aligned with its group’s configuration.
How It Works
Day Parts are defined and maintained at the group level in HotSchedules.
When a Day Part is added or updated, the system automatically sends the revised data to all mapped stores.
Data is formatted to match AI Forecasting schema requirements and delivered in batch, either at the end of the day or immediately upon change.
Stores only receive updates when configuration changes occur, minimizing unnecessary data transfers.
ASC Schedule Score | Improved Configuration Clarity
Availability
This update is available automatically for all clients with ASC Schedule Score Configuration enabled.
Who It’s For
Designed for managers and administrators who configure or review Schedule Score settings.
What’s New
We’ve added helpful explanatory text below the header of the ASC Schedule Score Configuration page.
This new guidance clarifies how unassigned parameters influence a location’s Schedule Score, making it easier for managers to understand scoring behavior and make informed configuration choices.
How It Works
When accessing the ASC Schedule Score Configuration page, you’ll now see a short message under the header explaining how unassigned parameters affect the overall score.
The text provides context directly within the interface—no additional documentation required.
