Released 2.27.20
Did you know: People born on February 29 are called "leaplings" or "leapers". Well, Happy Birthday Leapers! For your gift (and party favors for everyone else) we present you with the latest Time & Attendance Release Notes.
Enhancements
Limit Meal/Break Penalty to One per Day
A limit has been set on the number of meal/break penalties a user can incur over a single business day in order to better align the meal/break feature to current labor laws. Previously, if a meal/break rule was configured as "recurring" and a user worked a shift that required a meal/break as defined by the rule and didn't take one, HotSchedules would apply a penalty for each meal/break that was not taken. With this release, we limit penalties to one per day for each meal/break type.
Flag Users Below Minimum Wage
HotSchedules will now alert managers when hourly users are assigned jobs that are paying below the set minimum wage. The alerts appear as a banner on the top of the screen, as well as an icon and tooltip under the jobs column that lists which jobs fall below the minimum wage.
