What's Changing?
A new Store Totals report option has been introduced in the Payroll Reporting section, allowing to generate a summary of total hours and wages for each selected store. Users can now export this report in CSV format for one, multiple, or all locations, making payroll reconciliation more efficient.
The report structure enforces users hierarchy access, ensuring that only stores within the user's assigned node are available for selection. No additional permissions are required- any user with access to Time & Attendance Reporting can generate the report, improving payroll processing and eliminating the need for manual calculations.
Reason for the Change
This feature eliminates the need for manual payroll calculations, making it easier to users to quickly reconcile pay data by store before uploading it to external payroll systems. By providing a structured and scalable report, the feature enhances accuracy, efficiency , and usability in payroll processing.

Generating the Report
- Navigate to ASC / Time & Attendance/ Payroll Reporting
- Populate the necessary Payroll reporting fields.
- Select the required stores for export.
- In the dropdown, select "Store Totals Report" (new option).

- The report can be generated for one, multiple, or all locations.
- Export is in .cvs format.

- The report will display the selected pay period.
- Each row represented a store's total hours and wages.

What's Changing?
A new capability has been added to the ADP Payroll Report, allowing users to request custom names for the "Earnings 5 Code" and "Earnings 5 Amount" fields. If a custom name is defined for either field, the ADP report will display the updated name accordingly. This change is exclusive to the ADP Payroll Report and does not affect reports for other payroll types. This updated ensures that organizations can align the report structure with their internal payroll processing requirements, eliminating the need for manual renaming and improving efficiency.

Organizations may require customized field names in their payroll reports to align with internal payroll systems and processes. By allowing users to rename the "Earnings 5 Code" and "Earnings 5 Amount" fields within the ADP Payroll Report, this feature removes the need for manual adjustments, reduces human errors, and enhances payroll processing before importing data into ADP.

Customizing Field Names
- Users can request custom names for "Earnings 5 Code" and "earnings 5 Amount" fields.
- If a custom name is defined, it will appear only in the ADP Payroll Report and will not impact other payroll type reports.

Viewing the Customized Report
- When generating an ADP Payroll Report, the updated field names will appear int he export file.
- If no custom name is defined, the fields will retain their default names.

Feature Enablement:
- This feature is enabled via the HotSchedules Support site by adding "ADP_EARNING_5CODE_ALIAS" & "ADP_EARNING_5_AMOUNT_ALIAS" to either the Company OR Group level setting for the required defining the new alias for each field.
