ADP Payroll I Export ADP Custom Earning Codes

What's Changing?

Time & Attendance in the Above Store Console  now allows users to export ADP Payroll reports using the ADP Custom Earning Codes created, which are tailored specifically for the ADP Payroll system. 

Reason for the Change

This enhancement addresses the need for more tailored payroll reporting. by allowing the exportation of ADP Payroll reports using specific earning codes, users can generate accurate and customized exports that integrate with the ADP system, reducing manual adjustments and the potential for errors during data uploads.

Time and Attendance Customers with ADP as their payroll provider. 

Release Note Info/Steps

Users are able to export any ADP Custom Earning Code created, as a report in the ASC, by following these steps: 

1. Logging into the ASC
2. Select Time & Attendance 
3. Select Manage Payroll 
4. Select Group (if group level pay periods are enabled), otherwise Select Pay Period Type (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-weekly) 
5. Select Date Range
6. Select Pay Type
7. ADP Custom earning Codes already created will appear as a selectable option (NEW)
8. Select the desired stores to include in the report
9. Click "Generate Payroll" 

Improve Dropdown Field in Payroll Reporting for Consistency and Usability

What's Changing?

The payroll Reporting dropdown in Time & Attendance has been updated to: 

• Ensure all options have consistent and non-redundant labels. 
• Display options in alphabetical order for easier navigation. 

Reason for the Change

This update improves clarity and usability, reducing confusion caused by inconsistent labels. By sorting the options alphabetically, users can quickly locate the correct payroll report, enhancing efficiency.

• Label standardization:
  • All dropdown options have been reviewed and updated to ensure consistent naming conventions. 
• Alphabetical Sorting: 
  • Payroll report options in the dropdown are now listed in alphabetical order, making selection more intuitive. 
• User Impact
  • No functionality changes- only improvements to dropdown organization and readability. 
  • Users will now experience a more structured and predictable selection process. 
  • Changes are applied to the dropdown that can be found by doing the following workflow: 
    1. Logging into the ASC
    2. Select Time & Attendance
    3. Select Payroll reporting 
    4. Populate Payroll reporting fields
    5. Select the required stores
    6. Open dropdown
