What's Changing?
The total scheduled shifts have been added to the Shift Ratings data export.
Reason for the Change
The current data export for Shift Ratings allows users to generate and export for a specified date range, which includes the total number of shifts rated within that period. Adding the total number scheduled shifts will enable users to see how many shifts could have been rated compared to those that were actually rated.
Any gap greater than one hour will be counted as two separate shifts.

Punch Record History Report

What's Changing?
The report has been updated to include all relevant data for timecard.
Reason for the Change
The current version of the Punch records does not include edits made to meals, breaks, or tips. Additionally it is also missing the acknowledgement options for Agree and Disagree and the employee comments associated with the Disagree acknowledgement type.
The new report includes the following data columns.

Punch Type: The initial action of the punch. Expected values include:
- Original- If the shift came in from a POS or from the WebClock
- Added- If the shift was manually added by a manager via the Punch Records UI
- Edited- Any edit made to any part of the shift including adding or removing meals or breaks or adding/removing tips or changing the job.
- Deleted- If the Shift was completely deleted.

Edit Type: The type of edit made to a shift. Expected values include:
- Initial- The initial shift details (coming in mid-July or early August 2024: If the clock in, return from meal or return from break required a manager override.) Initial with Override will display for HotSchedules WebClock customers.
- Clock In- If the clock in time was changed
- Clock out_ If the clock out time was changed
- Tip Adjustment- If tips were adjusted. These columns won't display if Tips functionality is not enabled.
- Job- If the job was changed
- Meal/Break- If the meal or break times were changed of is a meal was changed to a break or a break to a meal.
- Punch Time/ Adjustments- Included the Shift Times, Job, Meals and Breaks of a punch record. A separate row is created for each edit type that occurred and the thing that was edited will be in bold.
- Cash, Credit, Service Charge and Tip Pool- The amounts declared for the carious tip categories. Note: These will only display if the tips functionality is enabled.
- Modified By Date/timestamp of the manager who made the edit.
- Modified Reason- The reason code selected for the punch edit.
- Punch Review Status- The date/time stamp and name of manager who reviewed the punch in the Punch Records UI. Note: This will only only display if Review Punch Records is enabled.
- Employee Ack. Status and Employee Comment- Indicated if the employee has acknowledged the edit made to their punch record. If No edits have occurred, this column will be empty. Currently HotSchedules supports two types of acknowledgements: General Acknowledgment and Agree/Disagree. If the customer is configured with Agree/Disagree, this will display as the status along with the date and time stamp. If the employee "disagree" with the edit, their comments will be displayed under the Employee Comment column.
- Employee header includes both the POS ID and the HRID of the employee.
- Managers can print the report or download to a csv. for up to a 90- day rolling period.
Note: Additional Updated will be released in late July or early August which will include if the initial punch in time of the return from a meal or a break had an override by the manager via the HotSchedules WebClock. This will also include the manager's comments captured at the time of the override.

What's Changing?
Scheduled labor positions now displays on the web version of shift approvals for swaps and pickups.
Reason for the Change
To improve Manager challenges in making informed decisions when approving shift transactions due to incomplete information about the shifts. Incorporating Labor Positions into the approval process for shift swaps and pickups/releases enhances the assurance that the location maintains adequate staffing levels.
