Overview
Location Rotation automatically rotates the locations assigned to employee shifts on a schedule.
You can run either:
- A Standard Rotation, which rotates locations alphabetically or numerically.
- A Custom Rotation, which follows a rotation that has already been configured for the selected schedule.
To learn how to create a custom rotation, see HS Scheduling: Set Up a Custom Rotation.
Run a Location Rotation
- Open the Scheduling tab.
- Select the week you want to rotate.
- Open the Menu and select Location Rotation.
- Select the schedule you want to rotate.
- Select the rotation you want to apply.
- (Optional) Enable:
- Rotate Shift Times
- Include House Shifts
- Select Rotate.
The available rotation options depend on how the selected schedule has been configured. If a custom rotation has not been set up, only the standard rotation is available.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard Rotation | Rotates locations alphabetically or numerically. |
| Custom Rotation | Applies a previously configured custom rotation. |
| Rotate Shift Times | Rotates shift times with the assigned locations. |
| Include House Shifts | Includes House Shifts when running the rotation. |
Note: Location Rotation only rotates locations that are already assigned to shifts. If no locations have been assigned, there is nothing to rotate.
