! This only applies to iPads that were provided by Red Book Connect.
The DigitalRedBook iPad is a supervised device and cannot be connected to any computer to be sync'd with iTunes. If a user connects the supervised iPad to their computer, the user will get an error message stating that this device is a supervised device and cannot be connected to this computer.
This mode allows us to remotely update and support the product on Red Book Connect iPads.
To back up content on the device, you can connect the iPad to your iCloud account. This will also allow you to sync contect between devices.
- To connect to you iCloud, go to Settings.
- Select iCloud.
- Select Account.
- Login to your iCloud.
- You will be able to choose what to synchronize from this screen.
