What's Changing?
When enabled within the ASC the system will not allow the pay period to be manually locked when there are pending reasons for Pay Exceptions.
At the end of a pay period when pending reasons are present for Pay Exceptions it will provide a notification to the user to update the reason types for the pay exceptions before allowing them to manually lock the pay period.
Upon clicking the link to Review Pay Exceptions the user will be taken to the Pay Exceptions area where they can fill in the reasons for the Pay Exception and when all of the Pay Exception reasons have been completed or when there are no longer any pay exceptions with pending reasons they will be presented with an option of “Success” and to return to the punch records page to continue locking the Pay Period:
This option only appears when the user arrives at the pay exceptions screen from a pay period that cannot be locked that alerts the user to review Pay Exceptions via the link on the Punch Records page.
