MBP- Auto Convert Short Meals to Paid Breaks

What's Changing?

When enabled, once the employee takes a meal shorter than the customer defined threshold, HS will Convert the meal to a paid break.

Reason for the Change

Assist customers with proper pay around time punches for Meals and Breaks.

Release Note Info/Steps

Customers will need to contact HotSchedules to enable the company level

Setting ENABLE_AUTO_CONVERT_SHORT_MEALS_TO_PAID_BREAKS

Customers with access to Pay Exceptions in the ASC can set the threshold requirements for a short meal under the Meal & Breaks Pay Exception.

If a customer does not have access to Pay Exceptions, they will need to contact HotSchedules.

Customer must also have permission SAME_DAY_EDITS_WITHIN_POS – set to false
