Release Notes/Steps
Setting up ATS Portal for Video Calls
Creating video events in ATS is already possible using either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The process of creating video events with Google is the same. More details on creating video events can be found here.
The integration has been built to work 'plug-and-play' by connecting the ATS to customers' existing corporate accounts with Google.
To configure an ATS portal to utilise Google video conference services, the following credentials are required:
-
Client ID - App key (can be found within your Google account - see steps below)
-
Client Secret - App secret (can be found within your Google account - see steps below)
-
Credentials - A service user that the ATS platform will use to create events within Google. This user will need to be created within your Google account
Please note: Customers can only use one video conferencing service and cannot have multiple services enabled simultaneously. To configure and enable your ATS portal to integrate with any of the services, please contact your customer success manager.
Please note: Customers have the flexibility to determine which groups of users will be able to utilise the video services to create video calls. Please specify which permission groups you would like this to be enabled for at the time of setting up your ATS portal.

The ATS will then automatically generate a unique meeting within the configured video service and retrieve all the necessary meeting details for both the interviewer as well as candidates. Once video call events are created, the event cards are subsequently displayed on the Calendar page with the relevant video call service used to create the event (see Fig.12).

Managers can access necessary meeting details for both video call services by expanding the Event cards (see Fig.13).

Hide 'Stage in Application' from My Application Page
- Enabled by Default? - No
- Set up by customer Admin? - No
- Enable via Support ticket? - Yes - please liaise with your Fourth contact
- Affects configuration or data? - No
What's Changing?
The option to hide the section which displays 'Stage in application' within the 'My Applications' page on the Candidate Portal.
Reason for the Change
Seeing a long list of application stages can be offputting for potential candidates and result in them withdrawing their applications altogether. Hiding the information prevents this.
Customers Affected
All ATS customers.
Release Notes/Steps
When a candidate views their application(s), the page displays 'Stages in application', which details each stage their application goes through as part of the recruitment process.
- To view the My Application page, log in to the Candidate Portal, go to My Applications and select an Application
The page will expand to show the detail of the application, including the 'Stages' - see Fig.14.

Candidate Account Deletion
- Enabled by Default? - Yes
- Set up by customer Admin? - No
- Enable via Support ticket? - No
- Affects configuration or data? - No
What's Changing?
A new, simple, option for candidates to delete their own personal account from ATS is being added to the Candidate Portal.
Reason for the Change
Under GDPR regulations, everyone has a right for their data to be deleted. This change gives all candidates the ability to delete their own account should they wish to express this right.
Customers Affected
All ATS customers.
Release Notes/Steps
Currently, if a candidate would like to delete their ATS account, they use the Subject Data Request Form which sends a notification for Fourth's support team to take action.
The option to delete accounts has been added to the candidate portal so that candidates can manage their own data.
To delete their account, a candidate will:
- Log in and go to Account Settings
- Select Remove my account
Fig.16 - Remove my account
A pop-up will appear.
- Select Confirm removal
Fig.17 - Account Removal confirmation
Important Information
- The candidate account will be deleted 48 hours after the request has been submitted. Candidates will then receive an email confirming that their account has been deleted.
- If the candidate logs back into their account within 48 hours of requesting the account to be removed, the request will be cancelled and the account will still be active
- If the candidate has any active applications, they will be automatically withdrawn from the recruitment process when their account is deleted
