What's Changing?
We have added a new company setting, that when enabled for clients using employee management sharing, will terminate an employee across at all sites when the termination is initiated from the home store.
Reason for the Change
Giving the managers at an employee's home store the ability to apply a termination that affects all locations reduces the need for duplicate work and/or delays or missed terminations.
Customers Affected
Only customers that manually share employees in HS with Employee Management Sharing. This only affects clients if the company setting is set to "Terminate employees across all shared locations."
Release Note Info/Steps
Set "Staff- Termination Across Shared Sites" to Terminate employees across al shared locations." in ASC > Company Settings to have terminations initiated from the home store apply to all shared locations. Terminations at a borrowed store will continue to only affect the borrowed store.
Managers at the home store will then receive a warning that the termination will apply to all shared locations and the employee's shifts will be hours at all locations.
The terminated employee will have all employee shares removed and their home store will be reset to the hiring location, on rehire.
