Overview
If enabled for your account, Copy Schedule lets you copy one or more schedules from one week to another. This can save time when creating recurring schedules while still allowing you to make adjustments for the new week.
For the best results, copy a schedule soon after posting it. This ensures the copied schedule reflects the original before any changes, such as shift swaps or edits, occur.
Copy a Schedule
- Navigate to the Scheduling tab.
- Select Menu > Copy Schedule.
- In the Copy Schedule window, specify:
- Source Week – The week you want to copy from.
- Target Week – The week you want to copy to.
- Schedules – Select the schedule(s) you want to copy.
- Select Copy.

Additional Copy Options
Before copying the schedule, you can choose from the following options:

Copy Meal/Break Edits

Troubleshooting
A Schedule Cannot Be Selected
If a schedule does not appear or cannot be selected, verify the following.
The Source Week Contains Shifts
Only schedules that contain shifts can be copied.
If the source schedule is Not Started, it will not appear as an available schedule because no shifts exist.

The Target Week Must Be Empty
The target schedule must have a status of Not Started or Deleted.
If shifts already exist, you'll need to delete them before copying.
If the schedule has already been posted, you'll first need to Unpost and Delete it before it can be used as the target week.
For more information, see Deleting Schedules.

Copy Schedule Is Missing
If Copy Schedule does not appear under Menu, one of the following may apply:
- Your permission set does not include access to Copy Schedule.
- Your company has disabled the feature.
- Activity-based forecasting or automatic shift generation is enabled, preventing manual schedule copying.
If you believe you should have access, contact your system administrator or Customer Support.
