Overview
House Shifts are unassigned shifts that employees can request to work. When a schedule is posted, available House Shifts appear in the House Shift Manager, where managers can review and assign them.

Create a House Shift
You can create House Shifts in several ways:
- By applying a template with unassigned shifts
- By copying a schedule that contains unassigned shifts
- By converting assigned shifts into House Shifts
- By creating a new House Shift manually
Create a House Shift Manually
- Open the desired week in the Scheduling tab.
- From the Menu, select Create House Shift.
- You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + H.
- Enter the Date, Start Time, and End Time.
- Select the Job, Location, and Schedule.
- Select Save.
The House Shift is added to the House Shift Manager.

Edit a House Shift
To edit an existing House Shift:
- Double-click the House Shift.
- Update the Start Time, End Time, Job, Location, or Schedule and select Save.

Assign a House Shift
To assign a House Shift to an employee:
- Drag the House Shift from the House Shift Manager onto the schedule.
- Employees who are available for that shift are highlighted.
- Drop the House Shift onto the desired employee's cell.
Note: Employees must be assigned the same Job and Schedule as the House Shift before it can be assigned.

Delete a House Shift
To delete a House Shift:
- Select the House Shift and press the Delete key.
- To delete an entire schedule (including House Shifts), use Delete Schedule from the Menu.
