Adaco: Retail Sales Report – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal

Overview

This article outlines the available criteria and outputs that can be used and achieved when running the Retail Sales Report.

Retail Sales Report

To run this report, go to Report Center > Accounting Reports > Retail Sales Report
To open the report criteria screen, double-click Retail Sales Report or select the report and choose Run Report

Criteria

Date Range Options

Can be set to a specific date range or to a financial period

Period

If Date Range by Period is selected, a financial period will be required

From and To Date

If Select Start and Ending Dates has been selected, a specific date range will be required

Select Outlets

Either check the specific outlets required or select All

Report Selection

Either select the specific product categories and subcategories or select All

Group By

Either group in categories alphabetical with all products listed, or further group by subcategory alphabetically before listing all products within

Sort By

Define how the products will be listed: alphabetically by description, in ascending alphanumeric order by PLU, or in ascending order as a percentage of retail sales within the grouping, either category or subcategory depending on the group by criteria already specified

Results

The report returns retail sales data by Outlet, and for each Outlet returns the following columns:

Product - this is the Adaco Product Number
PLU Desc. - this is the PLU that has been assigned to the product within the system and has been received on the POS sales feed
Product Description - the Product Description as defined in Adaco.
QTY Sold - the number of times that PLU was processed on the POS feed for that outlet within the given date range
Selling Price - the individual sales price as provided on the POS feed
Retail Price - the suggested selling price as defined in the system
Revenue - the overall revenue achieved within outlet for this product. This should be Selling Price x QTY Sold
Price Ratio - the Adaco Retail Price as a percentage of POS selling price achieved by the calculation Adaco Retail Price / POS Selling Price.
% of Sales - the total share of sales within category or subcategory (as previously defined by "Group By" criteria)

The following totals will also be provided by Outlet:

Subcategory Total Sales - If "Group By" criteria has been set to Category and Subcategory this will show total revenue for the subcategory within the Outlet
Category Total Sales - total revenue for the category within the Outlet
Outlet Total Sales - total revenue of all Retail Products within the Outlet

And at the end of the report:

Grand Total - total of all revenue generated within outlets included in the report.
