Usage Analysis By Outlet Report
The Usage Analysis By Outlet Report allows the User to report on the movement of stock within an Outlet(s) by both Quantity and Cost.
- To run the Usage Analysis By Outlet Report, go to Report Center > Accounting Reports > Usage Analysis by Outlet Report
- To open the report criteria screen, as per Fig.1, double-click Usage Analysis by Outlet or select the report and select Run Report

Report Criteria:
- Enter report criteria to get desired results, as per Fig.2

Fields | Description |
---|---|
Date Range Options | Runs report either by financial period or date range. |
Period | Select the financial period to generate the report for as defined under Property > Setup > Accounting > Fiscal Calendar. Blank [Default]. |
Period Start Date | Will auto populate Blank if report is being run by date range. |
Period End Date | Will auto populate.Blank if report is being run by date range. |
Report Type | Runs report by either Product, Product with Transaction Detail or Category Totals. |
Attribute Selection | Allows report to be filtered by Retail Attributes. |
Product Selection | Runs report by All Products, Selected Products or Selected Categories. |
Include Inventory | If checked will include the inventory values in the calculation. |
Outlet Selection | Selection of Outlets included in the report. |

When the Usage Analysis by Outlet report is generated, the result should look similar to Fig.3

Defines if individual row is reporting on Period-to-Date or Year-to-Date. |
Item | Product Purchase Unit. |
Item Description | Product Description. |
Beginning Inventory | The opening stock count taken from the Inventory carried out at the close of the previous financial period. |
Ending Inventory | The closing stock count taken from the Inventory carried out at the close of the selected financial period. |
Charges | Product movement into or out of the Outlet. |
Units Used | Beginning Inventory minus Ending Inventory plus Charges. |
Inventory Change | Variation between Beginning Inventory and Ending Inventory as a cost. |
Charges | Product movement into or out of the Outlet as a cost. |
Usage Cost | Units Used displayed as a cost |
% of Sales | Usage Cost displayed as a percentage of overall sales. |
