    Adaco: Inventory Turnover Report

    Inventory Turnover Report

    The Inventory Turnover report compares inventory versus usage to gauge how quickly inventory moves.
    • To run the Inventory Turnover report go to Report Center>Accounting Reports>Inventory Turnover report
    • To open the report criteria screen, double-click Inventory Turnover report or select the report and click Run Report, as per Fig.1

    Report Criteria:

    • Enter report criteria to get desired results, as per Fig.2 below

    Fields Description
    Outlet Allows Selection the Outlet[s] that are flagged as inventory under Property > Setup > Location > Outlet Blank [Default].
    Turns Select > greater then or < less than and enter a number of turns. > and blank number [Default]
    From - To Dates Select the period in which to generate the report.
    Start - End Date Auto populate upon selection of the period enter in the From and To field as defined under Property > Setup > Accounting > Fiscal Calendar Blank [Default].
    Category All Categories- auto generate s for the outlet categories. All Categories [Default]
    Selected Categories- open a selection box to allow choosing selected categories.


    Report Results

    When the Inventory Turnover report is generated, the result should look similar to Fig.3.

    Fields Description
    Product The Adaco product number.
    Product Description The description of the product as entered under Property > Products.
    Purchase Information Displays the purchase information from the Property > Products > Purchase Info field. [If Applicable].
    Inventory Size The products inventory size as defined under Property > Products.
    Retail Attributes Displays additional characteristics defined for retail attributes for retail product under Property > Products > Retail button [If applicable].
    Pur. Par Stock Displays the outlets purchase par quantity as defined under Inventory > Maintain Guides > Purchase Par Stock field. [If applicable]. 
    Pur. Reorder Displays the outlets purchase reorder quantity as defined under Inventory > Maintain Guides > Purchase Par Stock field. [If applicable].
    Current month Usage The current months usage displayed in product quantity.
    • CALCULATION CURRENT MONTH USAGE UNITS = TRANSFERS + INTER PROPERTY TRANSFERS [If applicable] + OUTLET REQUISITIONS + INTER PROPERTY OUTLET REQUISITIONS [If applicable].
    Current Inventory Displays the ending inventory for the period the report is ran for. If you run the report for just one period.
    • Example: Product 123 had an ending inventory for period 1 of qty 10, the report  inventory for that period will be 10.
    If the report is ran for multiple periods then the inventory is the total count for each period.
    • Example: product 123 period 1 inventory count posted was 10 and period 2 inventory count was 5 and the report is ran for period 1 through 2 the inventory will display a quantity of 15.
    Turns Displays the number of turns per the period)s) entered.
    • Calculation: TURNS = CURRENT MONTH USAGE CURRENCY / CURRENT INVENTORY CURRENCY
    In the example report above product number 104  turns =  1.094 / 0.104 = 10.519 rounded 2 decimals displays 10.52
    Outlet The outlet number and name.
    Category The category number and name.
    Sub Category The sub category number and name.
    Outlet Displays the outlet Current Month Usage and Current Inventory Currency totals.
