The Change
Validation has been inserted in to the Shift Type page to inform a user of the system implications of creating a Shift Type with a zero value.
Release Date: 28-Aug-2014
Reason for the Change
If a user creates a zero hour shift type and schedules a flexible or casual employee on to this shift type the hours spent on that shift will not contribute towards that employee’s holiday accrual.
The new validation ensures that flexible or casual employees are not mistakenly assigned to zero value shift types.
Customers Affected
All People System customers.
