A product quote is an alternative name of a vendor quotation. Use the Product Quotes screen to find all vendor quotations for a product.

Field Name	Description
Effective Date	Select the date for which you want to find quotations.
Product Number	In this field, you can specify the product, for which you want to find the effective quotations. Use the following options: type the product number and press Enter or click the Browse button and select the vendor from the list.
Purchase Unit	After you select a product, the system will automatically display the purchase unit for the product in this field.
Pack Quantity	After you select a product, the system will automatically display the pack quantity for the product in this field. Pack Quantity is the number of items in one pack. This value is taken from Product Details.
Product Description	After you select a product, the system will automatically display the product description in this field.
CP Control	Displays the value of the "CP Control" parameter assigned on the Product Details screen. CP control can be Full, Partial or None: If the CP Control status is set to None, there are no limitations on the quotes usage, i.e. they can be created both at the property or Central Purchasing or not used at all. In case of Partial CP Control— vendor quotations for the product can be added only at the Central Purchasing. The product cannot be added to a purchase order without using the vendor quotations from the Central Purchasing. You cannot enter a price or create a purchase order in a property if there is no quotation for this product at the Central Purchasing. Full CP Control is same as Partial, but purchase orders for the product can be created only at the Central Purchasing. Therefore, all purchase requisitions for such product must be routed to the Central Purchasing.
