HS: Global Navigation

We will be implementing the new Global Navigation menu for the HotSchedules - Labor module. This means that the static menu on the top of the screen will be replaced and we will have an expandable menu coming from the top left corner. 

There are several design changes made to the top banner for HS Labor in addition to the Global Navigation. We added a restaurant image that will display only in the home tab, and there a few other changes that you will be noticing. Let's take a look at all the changes you will be seeing.

A) Global Navigation - The menu is located on the top left corner of the page. All HS Labor tabs will now be under the Global Navigation Menu. This menu will also include access to add-on products like WebClock, Macromatix, Train (Schoox), GoHire, and the Above Store Console. All of these will open in a new tab. The last section will have a '? Help' link and a 'Logout' link.

When navigating the menu of the HS Labor tabs, it will automatically open a sub-menu on tabs that the sub-menu is available. You will need to select the sub-menu item to get to that page. Selecting the main tab won't open the default page as the previous menu bar, this is due to the Global Nav being shared across all Clarifi modules and they do not have a default landing page. Scheduling and Reporting will be the only two that with a click will take you to the default page.

B) HotSchedules Logo - The HotSchedules logo will be next to the Global Nav menu and it will just be the logo. Since we moved the add-on products to the Global Nav menu, the logo will be just the image and won't change to a menu.

C) Store name and Store picker - The store name will stay in the middle of the page and if you have access to multiple sites that will still open up a menu to select the store. The store picker menu also had a design change. The Above Store Console won't be available since it was moved to the Global Nav Menu. There is a new pop-up menu that will display all stores. You will still be able to search for individuals stores if the list is too large.

 D) User's initials and Logout - We changed the phrase "Hello, First Name!" to your initials. This will also open up a sub-menu with the Logout option. You will need to click to open the Logout option.

E) Help Tooltip - We replaced the phrase 'Get Help' with a question mark tooltip. When you select the tooltip it will open up the Help Center Menu for them to search Walk-Throughs that are available for you.
