HS: Global Navigation

Overview

Global Navigation provides access to all HotSchedules modules and navigation options from a single expandable menu located in the upper-left corner of the page.

In addition to simplifying navigation within HotSchedules, the Global Navigation menu provides access to connected products such as WebClock, Above Store Console, GoHire, and other enabled solutions.

Understanding the Global Navigation Header

The Global Navigation header contains several key areas that help users navigate HotSchedules and access account options.

A) Global Navigation Menu

Select the menu icon in the upper-left corner to open the Global Navigation panel.

From this menu, you can access:

• Home
• Settings
• Messaging
• Staff
• Forecasting
• Scheduling
• Logbook
• Reporting
• Additional enabled products and integrations

Many menu options contain sub-menus. Select the desired sub-menu item to navigate directly to that page.

B) HotSchedules Logo

The HotSchedules logo is displayed next to the Global Navigation menu and provides a consistent identifier across the platform.

C) Store Name and Store Selector

The current location appears in the center of the header.

Users with access to multiple locations can select the store name to open the location selector and switch between available sites.

D) User Profile Menu

Your profile icon displays your initials.

Select the profile icon to access account-related options, including:

• Logout
• Additional profile options (if enabled)

E) Help Menu

Select the Help icon (?) to access available help resources.

Depending on your organization's configuration, the Help menu may provide access to:

• Help Center articles
• Walk-throughs
• Training resources
• Additional support information

Tips for Using Global Navigation

• Use the Global Navigation menu to access all major HotSchedules areas from any page.
• Expand menu categories to view available sub-pages.
• Use the store selector to switch between locations if you have multi-store access.
• Access help resources at any time using the Help icon in the header.
