When the preferred name is enabled and filled out in the People system, it will be displayed in ESS on the user profile, and an additional field for the preferred name will be shown in HR details. |

What's Changing?
The ESS portal will now display the employee's preferred name if it is filled out in the People system under Personal Details.
Reason for the Change
This change provides employees with the option to display their preferred name, enhancing personalisation and user experience in the ESS portal.
Customers Affected
All ESS users with a preferred name.
Release Note
In ESS, the preferred name is displayed as the name of the user, and in the HR details section as an additional field.
