For quick access to the site, some users like to have a browser shortcut on their computer desktop to HotSchedules.
Follow these steps to setup a browser shortcut:
If using Google Chrome:
- Access www.hotschedules.com on your browser.
- On the browser toolbar, select the Chrome menu. It will look like three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the browser window.
- Select More Tools from this menu and then Create application shortcuts.
- Choose where you would like to see shortcuts on your computer (like the desktop).
- Select Create.
If using Internet Explorer:
- Access www.hotschedules.com on your browser.
- Drag the System Icon from the left side of the Internet Explorer title bar to your desktop or a folder. It will be on the left of the address bar (where the URL is shown).
- When you double-click the Internet shortcut, Internet Explorer starts and loads the web page the shortcut points to.
If using FireFox:
- Once you're at www.hotschedules.com, select the icon on the left of the address bar (where the URL is shown).
- While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button.
- You can also drag and drop items to the desktop from the Bookmarks menu and the Library window to create shortcuts.
When you open the shortcut you made, your default browser will open, and display the page for which you made the shortcut.
