PeopleMatter: How does the drug screening process work with Sterling Background Checks?

Currently, there are no setup fees associated with this service. You will be charged by each background check conducted.

Email instructions are sent to the applicant/employee using the email address tied to the individual's PeopleMatter account. From there, it is handled directly through Sterling.

Sterling partners with Quest and Labcorp and typically utilizes their network of over 3,500 patient service centers for specimen collections. In instances where Quest or Labcorp are not ideal, Sterling partners with hundreds of other third-party clinics throughout the country. 

Most clients use electronic chain of custody forms, but Sterling has the ability to use paper forms as well. Sterling also has oral swab testing available.
