Overview
The Fourth Customer Community sits within the Fourth Customer Success Portal, and is where you can connect with the Fourth team, ask questions, suggest product improvements, and engage with other Fourth customers.
For information on browsing our knowledge articles and the rest of our Customer Success Portal, please see this article.
Ideas
The 'Ideas' groups on the Community allow customers to suggest improvements to Fourth products. When an Idea is posted, our relevant Product Team will review it and decide if it can be 'open' for voting.
Other Fourth customers can then vote for that Idea, to help demonstrate overall demand. Votes cast will influence (but not determine) Fourth's decision to implement functionality described in Idea posts.
Submitting an Idea
- From the Community homepage, select your required Fourth Product
- On the right side of the screen, select New Idea
If there is no 'Ideas' section for your product, please select New post and use that to submit your Idea
- Enter a Title for your Idea - try to make it as descriptive as you can
At this point, a list of 'similar posts' will appear - please check this to see if your Idea (or similar) has already been posted. If so, please go there and add a comment/cast your vote
- Make sure the Topic is for the correct 'Ideas' group
- Write your suggestion in the Details field, providing as much detail as possible, including what benefit the proposed change would bring. Screenshots/images can be included
- Then select Submit
Before appearing on the Community, your Idea will be approved by our Community team. At this first step, Idea posts will only be rejected if they fail to meet our Guidelines or Terms of Use.
The Idea will then be reviewed by the appropriate Fourth product team and replied to. The reply will confirm one of the following statuses:
- No Status - Received and under review
- Open for Voting - Validated and open to community voting
- Planned - Selected for near-term development
- Answered - Already available or not feasible, with explanation provided
- Completed - Developed, released, and shared with release notes
We aim to update Ideas marked No Status within 5 working days.
Good to know: You will automatically be 'following' your own Idea, and will receive email notifications for any activity
Voting on Ideas
If you like an existing Idea, please vote for it!
- Use the Vote button (as shown below), and the vote count will increase by one
- To remove your vote, use the same button again, and you will see the vote count decrease
- You can also leave a comment against an Idea, to further expand on your reasons for voting
It is not possible to vote against an Idea.

Hi Team
On the requisition Templates on the Inventory, could the issuing size default to the supply quantity within RME? this would make more sense as currently, it defaults to units size, which is mainly used for stock count purposes.
Thank you so much For your consideration :)
Hi Adil Loudiyi,
Thank you for your Idea! We have created a new post for it in the Inventory Ideas section, which you can find here - Ideas: Inventory Management.
Our product team will review it and decide if it will be open for voting. You are tagged in that new post so will receive notification of any updates.
Best wishes,
Fourth Communities Team
Hi Dear Team
It would be really useful if anything searched and filtered in the master data could be exported into Excel.
Thank you!
Hi Istvan Bak,
We have taken this comment and created an Idea post for it on our Community - here. We will be in touch, thanks!
