Overview
This article describes the process of uploading sales budgets and wage target percentages into the Scheduling module.
This is done by creating .CSV files (best done in Microsoft Excel) and uploading them directly within the application.
Before starting this process, please ensure that all Locations required for sales and wage budget uploads have been created within the HR Module and have EPOS IDs set up within Scheduling.
Daily Sales Split
Ensure that the Daily Sales Split has been entered Before Weekly Sales budgets are loaded.
- Log in to Scheduling and go to the Homepage
- Go to Settings and select a Location
- From the left-side menu, go to Sales Budget Breakdown Percentages > Budget Breakdown Percentages
- Select Create New and choose a Department
- Enter daily sales split percentages as required and then Save

Creating Sales Budget and Wage Target Files
A template/guide can be downloaded from the bottom of this article.
The template is in XLSX format. The actual files for loading must be in CSV format.
Template Fields - Weekly or Daily Sales Budget Upload and Weekly Wage Target % Upload
EPOS ID - the EPOS ID defined in the Department of the Location. This can be found in Settings > Departments
Date - YYYY-MM-DD - this is the date of the sales budget for a particular day. If the time period is 'Week' then it is the first day of that week
Type (Sales/Wage Budget) - 'Sales Budget' or 'Wage Budget' - must be one or the other
Revenue Type - the first sales type of the location (for example, 'Drink') - this can be found in Settings > Sales Types

Timer Period (Day/Week) - 'Day' or 'Week' - a file can contain a combination of the two - see Fig.2
Free Column 1 - leave blank
Free Column 2 - leave blank
Free Column 3 - leave blank
All columns are mandatory. It is necessary to load separate files for sales budgets and wage target percentages

Uploading Sales Budgets & Wage % Targets
When the files are completed and ready to upload:
- Log in to Scheduling
- Go to Settings and select a Location
- Then from the left side menu, go to Uploads > Budget Upload
- From the Budget Upload Type drop-down select LP Sales/Wage Budget
There is also an option to Send budget values back to UK HR & Payroll. This will update your Analysis Page, Weekly Overview reports and Fourth Analytics (if used). It will update the wage/sales budgets within the core UK WFM reporting.
- Select and upload the required template file with the Select a Document and Upload buttons
Please note: Budget figures will be uploaded for each Department specified in the template.
For Locations that have the he budget figures will be loaded against the first Department assigned to that Location (can be seen in HR > Company Admin > Locations > select Location > Assign Divisions - the first Department is top of the 'Assigned' list). All other Departments in that Location will have their budget figures updated as 0.
If Departments in HR (known as 'Divisions') have separate budget values from Scheduling that need to be kept, do not tick Send budget values back to UK HR & Payroll.
- Select and upload the required file with the Select a Document and Upload buttons

The data will be uploaded and sent for processing. Depending on the file size the processing could take 1 to 2 minutes to update both systems.
- To see the progress in Scheduling, from the left side menu, go to Uploads > Budget Upload> Budget Upload History

Once the file has been processed, its Status will show as 'Success'.

In the event of a file not loading successfully, an error message will display onscreen to indicate what the problem is (see example in Fig.7). The file should then be corrected, saved, and reuploaded.
