Overview
The Tips and Sales Automated Report provides Above Store users with visibility into employee sales and tip activity for locations using supported POS integrations.
This report is available for companies that sync sales data from:
- Aloha POS
- Squirrel POS
The report includes information such as:
- Cash tips
- Credit tips
- Sales totals
- Tip percentages
- Variance between cash and credit tips
Users must have the appropriate Above Store Console (ASC) permissions to access and configure the report.
Access the Tips and Sales Automated Report
To configure the report:
- Log in to the Above Store Console (ASC)
- Go to Reports > Automated Reports
- Select Tips and Sales Report from the report selector
Configure the Report
Select Jobs
At least one Job must be selected before the report can be configured.
By default, the report displays:
No Jobs Selected
Use the Job drop-down menu to select the appropriate Job(s).
- When four or fewer Jobs are selected, the Job names display individually
- When more than four Jobs are selected, the total number of selected Jobs displays instead
Variance Filter
The Variance field can be used to filter employees based on the difference between cash and credit tips.
Only whole numbers are supported in this field.
For example:
- Entering 4 returns employees with a variance greater than 4%
The report will generate using the configured variance threshold.
Report Data
The Tips and Sales Automated Report may include the following information:
- Employee sales totals
- Cash tips
- Credit tips
- Tip percentages
- Cash and credit tip variance
This information can help organizations review tip reporting and identify unusual variances between declared tips and sales activity.
