Sorting of Shifts on the Roster Report:

Your company is set up with "Shift Information", which represent different times ranges within your business day. The Roster Report will sort shifts by these day parts.

You can see your company's day parts under the Store section of the Settings tab. The most common configuration is to have on "AM" or "Lunch" shift, and one "PM" or "Dinner" shift.

Employees' times on the Roster Report will fall under the shift which contains the largest amount of the employees' scheduled work time for the day.

Example:

For the site in the screenshot above, the Shift Information is as follows:

Lunch: 4 AM - 4 PM

Dinner: 4 PM - 4 AM

If an employee is scheduled from 2 PM - 5 PM they will appear in the Lunch section of the Roster Report (because 2 hours of the 3 hours shift falls under Lunch).

If an employee is scheduled from 2 PM - 8 PM they will appear in the Dinner section of the Roster Report (because 4 hours of the 6 hour shift falls under Dinner.
