What's Changing?
A process to optimise the handling of historical data is being implemented. The last 13 months of Sales and Labour data will remain unchanged, preserving the current level of detail at 30-minute intervals. Data older than 13 months will be aggregated to daily intervals and archived. The focus is on maintaining the integrity of recent data while improving the efficiency of data handling for older records.
Reason for the Change
This approach will streamline data management and improve workspace performance, ensuring that recent data remains detailed and accessible, whilst reducing the volume of data processed in real time.
Customers Affected
All Fourth Analytics customers. This change will impact customers with extensive historical data in their GoodData workspaces, particularly those utilising detailed Sales and Labour datasets.
Release Notes Information
Customers can request a reload of archived data if needed. This can be done through a Fourth customer service manager/team, who will raise an internal case for the Fourth Analytics Professional Services team. The service level agreement (SLA) for data reloads is 2 weeks, ensuring timely access to historical data when required.
