What's Changing?
The "# Absence Days (HR_Absences)" metric has been updated. Absence days are now distributed across the entire spell period rather than being attributed to the latest calendar date.
Reason for the Change
Previously, the metric "# Absence Days (HR_Absences)" reported all absence days against the latest calendar date, which caused confusion and inaccuracies, especially for absences spanning multiple months. The updated metric provides a more accurate representation of absences, aligning with customer expectations and improving usability.
Customers Affected
All customers using HR Absence reporting in Fourth Analytics, except for customers using bespoke HR metrics.
Release Note Info/Steps
For example, an absence spell from February 1st to April 1st will now display absences across February, March, and April, rather than attributing all 61 days to April.
