The Overview tab of the Dynamic Drivers dashboard provides a comprehensive view of business performance across various volume types (e.g., sales, check-ins) and allows for tracking of variances between actual data and forecasts (manager or system). Key insights include:
- Operational Trends: Visualizing how key volume types fluctuate over time
- Forecast Accuracy: Using WAPE to assess how well system or manager inputs match actual data
- Problem Identification: Highlighting locations or dates with poor performance or forecast accuracy, helping managers focus their efforts where needed
- The Locations tab is designed to give a location-specific breakdown of how well forecasts align with actual performance across multiple sites. Key insights include:
- Forecast Accuracy: Users can quickly identify which locations have the most accurate (or inaccurate) forecasts by reviewing WAPE metrics for each site
- Performance Monitoring: By tracking both the best and worst performers, users can focus efforts on improving the forecasting accuracy at the underperforming locations
- Problem Detection: The tab highlights locations with persistent forecast issues (WAPE > 20%), allowing users to prioritize interventions and identify dates or trends where forecasting accuracy needs improvement
- The Revenue Centers tab provides a breakdown of volume metrics by different revenue-generating areas, allowing users to track and compare operational performance across various business channels
- The Volume Performance tab gives users detailed insights into forecast accuracy by volume type (e.g., Sales, Guests, Items), helping them understand how well forecasts align with actual performance
- The Future Days tab is designed to help plan for upcoming days by providing insights into forecast accuracy and volume projections
