Release Note Info/Steps
Tip payouts are configured during the implementation phase for each customer and provide two possible ways to initiate payment of tips: manual, automatic (or both - more information can be found here). Users (admins) who have access to upload tips files will now also be able to manage and customize the payout times for each location.
Initially, all locations inherit the customer's default payout times.
- To change payout times for a location, first select one from the Location drop-down
- Then select the pen icon next to Daily Scheduled Pay Out Time
The 'Cut Off Time' occurs on the last day of the pay period, after which, the period is locked and no more payouts can be made to it.

All presented times are in the device's local timezone,

The new payout times will be displayed (as in Fig.1), and the 'Custom Schedule' is indicated. Before making any changes, this would display as 'Default Schedule'.
Payout Fee Charging Logic
-
12-Hour Threshold: A fee will be charged for the first payout initiated within 12 hours. Any subsequent payouts within this timeframe will not incur additional fees
Exception for Payroll Period Transition: If a payout occurs just before the end of a payroll period and a new one begins, the fee structure may differ. In this case, the subsequent payout may be charged a fee, even if it falls within the 12-hour threshold.
Fee charges are dynamic and already covered/agreed on during the customer's implementation process.
